Jazz Fest Strawberry Lemonade

Jazz Fest Strawberry Lemonade

Nothing says Jazz Fest like a huge, colorful plastic cup of strawberry lemonade over lots of ice — intensely flavored with fresh lemon juice and pureed strawberries– there’s nothing and I mean NOTHING quite like it. On a hot day, it’ll pour through you like a cool citrus breeze and brighten your day with the taste of sunshine.

The Corona virus blasted through our city in 2020 and forced the first closure of the fest in 50 years. New Orleanians responded by “festing” fiercely in place. My contribution is this easy and quick recipe for Jazz Fest Strawberry Lemonade. Make it now and enjoy!

Addition of vodka is optional! Some might say mandatory!
