Asian Marinated Flank Steak

If you’re looking for a nice lean cut of beef that soaks up a marinade really well, flank steak is the way to go. I’ve tried several marinades over the years, but this one is my favorite. The combination of the sweet marinade with the savory steak leads to an unforgettable meal. Pair with some rainbow potatoes and our famous caesar.

Ingredients
  • 1.5-2lb flank steak
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1 large green onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp. brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup good extra virgin olive oil
Directions
  • Step 1 Place flank steak in a shallow baking dish
  • Step 2 Combine all ingredients in a measuring cup and whisk well
  • Step 3 Pour marinade over flank steak, ensuring marinade gets under the meat as well.
  • Step 4 Let marinade for 1-2 hours or overnight
  • Step 5 Grill or bake for 7 minutes a side for a nice medium-rare finish
